This year's set celebrates the Lift Locks of the "Canal du centre" and the 90th anniversary of their completion.The four lift locks have not stopped functioning since they opened nearly a century ago. Beginning in the 1990's the locks underwent a major update with a view to accommodating increasing volumes of tourist traffic.
