One of the 12 medals created in 1836 by the German artist Konrad Lange (1809-1856). They depict moments and symbolic representations of the 1821 struggle for independence, figures of Greek chieftains who pioneered the national liberation struggle, governor Ioannis Kapodistrias and the first kings.
